Clean garnet colour. Clear sensation of chicory mixed with sweet sensational cherry jam, chocolate and elder. Confirmed at the palate adding notes of liquorice root and carob.
Vineyard: 400 – 500 metres above sea level. Paternopoli area vines are greatly suited to the hilly terrain of volcanic origin, but also mostly clay-limestone
Pairs well with: Fine charcuterie, lamb, meat sautés and medium-aged cheeses or blue cheese.
