Brilliant golden yellow with hints of green. A bouquet of fruit reminiscent of ripe gooseberries, apples, and peaches. Offering elegant juicy fruit on the palate, mineral notes, and a melting silky finish.
Vineyard: Vineyard: 300 metres above sea level on the low-lying hills in Tramin-Söll, south of Caldaro. This Pinot Grigio thrives in the ideal circumstances on the glacial moraine soils, which are particularly well drained. The over-30-year-old vines have yielded unusually high-quality grapes this year. This is a result of the microclimate’s relatively mild temperatures, which provide the vines warm days and chilly nights. The wine is given age and freshness at the same time by these significant temperature changes brought on by the thermal inversion currents at night.
This Pinot Grigio pairs well with vegetarian cuisine because of its savoury and peppery undertones. Additionally, the sweetness of the wood enables more adventurous pairings with dishes including white meat or smoked fish. a versatile white wine that may be paired with virtually any dish.
