Bright ruby colour. Complex nose of red berries, pomegranate and rose, layered with Mediterranean herbs and subtle spice. Fresh, mineral and energetic on the palate, with fine structure and a long, savoury, persistent finish.
Vineyard: Vineyard: Nerello Mascalese grows in volcano-derived sandy soils at an elevation of about 800-850 metres.
It is the ideal wine to accompany grilled meat and goes well with couscous and aged cheeses.
