Deep ruby red with violet hues. The nose reveals notes of dark berries, blackcurrant and plum, with hints of coffee and dark chocolate from the aging. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with firm but well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Vineyard: Vineyard: South-east to north-east and west between 400 – 500 metres above sea level. Well ventilated and with low night temperatures during the ripening period. Mineral marl on limestone gravel.
This wine pairs well with game, roasts, dark meats and hard cheeses.
