Essence Barolo Riserva is vinified only in the best vintages. It is an assemblage of the best grapes from the vineyards of the Comune del Barolo. Colour ruby tending to garnet. Bouquet ethereal, with hints of violets, blackberry jam, liquorice, and cloves. The palate is dry, full-bodied, with silky tannins and a lovely chocolate, berry aftertaste.

Vineyard: Vineyard: Barolo DOCG Riserva ‘Essenze’ is made with the blending technique, which was typical in the Langhe as early as the beginning of the last century. It is made only in the finest vintages.

Game and meat in general, particularly beef braised in Barolo, slow-cooked ox, rabbit with pepper, Piedmontese-style mixed boiled meats and mature cheeses.
